How to Use Klaviyo with Shopify?
If you're running an e-commerce business on Shopify, then integrating Klaviyo with your store is a no-brainer. Setting up the integration only takes a few minutes, and once it's up and running, you’ll be able to automatically sync all of your customer data directly into Klaviyo.
Step 1: Access your Klaviyo Account
First, you need to login to your Klaviyo account. Once you’ve scoured through your records and remembered your password, now search for the Integrations tab.
Once inside the integrations tab in your Klaviyo Account, select add Shopify Integration.
Step 2: Add the Shopify Store URL
You’re now ready to connect your Klaviyo account to your Shopify store, by entering your Shopify store URL.
Here are a few of our integration tips & recommended configurations.
- Collect Subscribers: By selecting ‘Collect email subscribers’, when any of your customers checkout and accept Email marketing or sign up via Shopify’s default form, they will be automatically synced with your desired list.
- Compile a List of SMS Subscribers: Enabling this option will automatically add all of your customers who, at checkout, agree to SMS Marketing to your Klaviyo SMS list.
- Sync Customer SMS Subscription Status: This will enable Klaviyo and Shopify to sync Customer’s SMS Subscription Status when/if any changes occur.
Step 3: Establish the Connection
Now that you’ve configured your integration settings, select connect to Shopify.
Step 4: Install the Shopify Application
You’re almost there!
Now just install the Klaviyo Shopify app by selecting ‘Install App’. This is the final step in establishing the connection between your Shopify and Klaviyo accounts.
Depending on the size of your Customer Database, the time it takes to sync may vary. Once the synchronisation is complete, you’ll receive a ‘success’ message.
